The person used zippers in another unusual way - I think he put them between godets or something like that, but he used them like a braid and it was incredibly effective. I might try to find it but that would mean watching the entire program again. No maybe not. Belinda might recall. It was a great idea on your hat though. It's an old Qld Granny's recipe really and it works with mouth ulcers (which I know is different entirely). I don't think it can hurt though and it may help. If I ever get a mouth ulcer I use bi-carb straight on it (and the next day it's gone) but you can make a mouth wash as strong as possible with the bi-carb (as much as can be dissolved into the water) and just gargle it every time you pass by.
