		<description>Yeah, The Pill is one of the great unknown evils of modern civilization.  I gained weight and lost my sex drive (worked really effectively as a contraceptive, though).  I'm allergic to latex and spermicide AND have never successfully been fitted for a diaphragm.  I've since switched over to a non-hormonal intra-uterine device that I'm hoping will take me through menopause (it's good for 10 years).

My suggestion was, of course, a hysterectomy, the the doctors kept saying I "would" change my mind about having babies.  Here I am at 42, married, seven critters - no babies and no desire for them (I teach in the summers and play with the neighbor kids &#38; send 'em home).

p.s.  Go for the bell sleeves.</description>
