Susan, photo will appear shortly! I haven't worn brown since it was my senior school uniform - in 1985!

Just my luck though, I've picked brown in a season of very few brown shoes. The search continues....

Hi Joan! I'm sewing the sewing Miranda today - very exciting!

And I mean every word I say about that pattern - I think it's outstanding, and I often wave it in front of other people saying "THIS is how I want pattern instructions to be!"

Sadly, most other people don't seem to care about making their patterns the best possible pattern it could be - I am so grateful that you do!

(Especially since I have this sort of directional dyslexia - I get very confused with inside outs and upside downs - but all of your patterns that I've made have gone together perfectly first time, thanks to your clear writing and photos.)

Hi Caity!

I cannot wait to see your sewing themed Miranda. It's going to be fabulous.

Thank you for the ringing endorsement for the Miranda Day Bag pattern. It means a great deal to me.

Lazy hugs,
Joan

Luuuurve the sound of the new fabric even if it IS brown which I never ever wear, and yes, OF COURSE I want to see a photo before it's cut.

and that fabric with the scissors is to die for... the sewing machine one is a bit too regular for me, but those all over scissors, just fabulous.

probably just as well for my budget that I'm the other end of the country :]

It should be noted that Caity is not paid or otherwise induced to rave about Gardams.

It should also be noted that "Ewan Gardam" anagrams to "A mad, new rag".

Pretty impressive shop, though.
